7. Oliver Stubby – Along the home straight turned its head outwards towards the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Karen Daniels regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR124 Failing to pursue – 28 days stand down at Q1 Lakeside and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next.

2. Disco Cowboy – Was slow to begin. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside shoulder injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days.

1. Bye Bye Swiper – Went up with the lids. Along the home straight turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with the outside runner on multiple occasions. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Bailey Dargusch regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR123 Marring (2nd offence) – 28 day stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next.

2. Flying Tatum – Shortly after the start began to give ground taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside back muscle injury and was stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a satisfactory Stewards trial prior to racing next.
