1. Thunder Shazam – Leaving the boxes shifted out sharply and was checked and then turned its head outwards towards the outside runners. Along the home straight checked off heels and then stumbled. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR124 Failing to pursue – 28 days stand down at Q1 Lakeside and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

The start of this race was delayed by approximately 4 minutes due to an issue with an alarm within the kennel block.
3. Key Change – Along the home straight commenced to give ground. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside hamstring injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days |
