Surrealist – collided with runners after the winning post when approaching the catching pen and fell. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any apparent abnormalities. |

Memory of Mum – began quickly and then midway through the backstraight the greyhound faltered and lost ground abruptly to finish tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hind back muscle with a 60 day stand down period imposed. The greyhound must complete a satisfactory trial prior to nominating again. Trainer Mark Saal advised consideration would be given to retiring the greyhound. |

Cumbria Benny – slipped in the catching upon pulling up, fell over and was observed to have possibly cramped. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any apparent abnormalities. Trainer Tony Brett was advised to report anything arising from tonight’s event.
Sandave Staples – collided with runners when rounding the turn out of the back straight resulting in Sandave Staples to be severely checked, lose balance and then fall, taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination did reveal any apparent abnormalities.
Canya Excite Me – trainer presented the greyhound to on-course vet post-race and upon examination was found to have a laceration to the offside hind foot. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. |
