General: Stewards opened an inquiry into an incident that occurred between licenced trainers Mr Andrew Graham and Mr Tarquin Neal in the outside area located between the empty out yards. After taking evidence from Mr Graham and Mr Neal the inquiry was adjourned to a date and time to be fixed.
Licensed trainer Christopher Riordon was reprimanded in respect of a charge issued under GAR76(7), for failing to present the greyhound Brocade Crown for Race 1.
Prior to the running of Race 9, stewards inspected the track and deemed the surface suitable for racing.

4 Hara’s Northerly – Shortly after the start shifted in. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury. Steward’s spoke to trainer J Daley regarding the greyhound’s actions. After considering all available evidence steward’s determined the greyhound was not in breach of any rules.
10 Brocade Crown – Late scratching at 2:08pm under the provisions of GAR 86(1), not being presented in the required kennelling time. The greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Trainer C Riordon was reprimanded pursuant to GAR 76(7). |

8 Goldstar Buzz – Entering the turn out of the back straight was checked and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside foreleg. Due to catastrophic nature of the injury the greyhound was humanely euthanised. |
