Race 1 - THE LIDS FLY HOSTED POTS MAIDEN 390m

 

6. Waka Tui – Into the 1st turn was checked, through the 1st turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

 

 

Race 2 - GORSKI ENGINEERING MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 390m

 

5. Oliver Buck – Into 1st turn was checked. Through the 1st turn looked awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside pin. A 28 day stand down was imposed. The greyhound must successfully complete a steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

 

 

Race 3 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 4 390m

 

No apparent reportable incidents.

 

 

 

Race 4 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MA5 390m

 

3. Big Reveal – Into the 1st turn was severely checked falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury laceration its nearside hind leg. A 14 day stand down was imposed.

 

 

 

Race 5 - LADBROKES POPULAR SRM PATHWAYS HEAT 1 5PW 390m

 

2. Jack Is Back - Late scratching at 12:16pm pursuant to GAR 76(2) By order of Stewards.

 

9. Flaming Blossom – In the home straight turned its head outwards for several strides taking its attention away the lure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer J Schmidt regarding the greyhound’s actions for that stage of the event. After hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay, and hearing submissions from Mr Schmidt, stewards deemed Flaming Blossom to be in breach of GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Flaming Blossom was suspended from racing at all tracks until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial in conjunction with a 28-day suspension at the Q1 Lakeside as this was where the offence occurred.

 

 

 

Race 6 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE GRADE 5 (1) 390m

 

No apparent reportable incidents.

 

7. Little Rowdy - Late scratching at 10:41am pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to Stewards permission, no stand down.

 

 

 

Race 7 - ENGINEERING BY STP CONSULTANTS GRADE 5 (2) 390m

 

6. Alley Acres – Shortly after the start was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

9. Foxy Fawn – Shortly after the start had its muzzle dislodged.

 

 

 

Race 8 - LADBROKES FAST PAYOUTS GRADE 5 (3) 390m

 

5. Cyclone Alfie – Rounding the home turn and for the majority of the home straight had it head turned outwards taking its attention away the lure. Stewards spoke to trainer P Gainey regarding the greyhound’s actions for those stages of the event. After hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay, and hearing submissions from Mr Gainey, stewards deemed Cyclone Alfie to be in breach of GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 3rd offence under this rule Cyclone Alfie was suspended from racing at all tracks for 3 months and until the successful completion of 2 satisfactory steward’s trials prior to be reinstated to race again.

No apparent reportable incidents.

 

 

 

Race 10 - LADBROKES FAST PAYOUTS GRADE 5 (4) 390m

 

3. He’s Delirious – Into the 1st turn was severely checked falling as a result and failed to finish the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

 

 

Race 11 - THE Q - ENGINEERED BY STP CONSULTANTS PATHWAYS HEAT 2 5PW 390m

 

4. Aston Surpass - Late scratching at 12:16pm pursuant to GAR 76(2) By order of Stewards.

 

5. Detective - A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury laceration its nearside hind leg. A 14 day stand down was imposed.

 

8. Cash Promised Rounding the home turn commenced to weaken appearing injured. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury its offside hip support. A 28 day stand down was imposed. The greyhound must successfully complete a steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

 

 

 

Race 12 - LADBROKES POPULAR SRM PATHWAYS HEAT 3 5PW 390m

 

4. Maywyn’s Noble – Shortly after the start failed to muster speed trailing the field for the entire event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. As the greyhound was not competitive being beaten 34.5 lengths, stewards invoked GAR 129 Unsatisfactory Performance. Maywyn’s Noble must complete a satisfactory trial prior to racing next.

  

6. Inky Ricochet – Through the 1st turn pulled up failing to take any further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury its offside hip. A 10 day stand down was imposed.
