2 Borneo Floki – Entering the turn out of the back straight was checked and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury.

 

6 Aston Hurn – Approaching the winning post turned its head outwards to the outside runner and made muzzle contact. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury. Stewards spoke to trainer representative E Kleinhans regarding the greyhounds actions. After considering all available evidence stewards invoked GAR123 – Marring (1st Offence). 28 day stand down at Q1 Lakeside and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.
