2 Confidential Gal – Checked rounding the first turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

3 Goldstar Willow – Faltered in its action in the home straight when appeared to have sustained an injury. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside pin muscle and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

 

4 Poppy Day – Checked rounding the first turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

8 Vandorlo – Checked rounding the first turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside foreleg and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 90 days. Vandorlo must trial prior to any future nomination being accepted.

Race 3 – GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MAIDEN HEAT 3 MAIDEN 352m

 

4 Lucy’s Mate – Checked rounding the first turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

6 Signing Papers – Dragged down by another runner approaching the home turn and fell taking no further part of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Race 4 – LADBROKES BIG BETS MAIDEN HEAT 4 MAIDEN 352m

 

5 Brandy And Wine – Turned in the boxes and came out facing backwards, missing the start by several lengths. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. After the reviewing the race footage, Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR106(1) ordered that Brandy And Wine must complete a satisfactory trial prior to any prior nomination being accepted.

 

Race 5 – THE LIDS FLY HOSTED POTS 2-3 WINS (1) 352m

 

1 Spring Toulon – Faltered in its action leaving the first turn losing considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the off-hind back muscle and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days. Spring Toulon must trial prior to any future nomination being accepted.

 

4 Nunu Deuce – Checked rounding the home turn and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
