7. Magic Shazam – Near the finish marred the runner to its outside. Stewards spoke to trainer’s representative C Jackson regarding the greyhound’s actions for that stage of the event. After hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay, and hearing submissions from Mr Jackson, stewards deemed Magic Shazam to be in breach of GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Magic Shazam was suspended from racing at all tracks until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial in conjunction with a 28-day suspension at the Q1 Lakeside as this was where the offence occurred. |
