3 Danger Zone – Visibly eased and turned its head to the outside runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer T.Elson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Failing to pursue by reason of injury – 10 days stand down at Q1 Lakeside and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
