6 Foxy Fawn – Through the turn out of the back straight turned its head outwards to the outside runner and made muzzle contact. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Ron Brook regarding the greyhounds actions. After considering all available evidence stewards invoked GAR123 Marring (2nd Offence). The greyhound was stood down from racing for 28 days at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing. |
