1 Extreme Grunt – Commenced to give ground entering the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.
5 Sagacious Syd - Late scratching at 3:42pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have an injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.
6 Bush Boodie – Shifted out turning its head to the runner on the outside and made muzzle contact through the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer P.Wilson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring – 28 days stand down at Q1 Lakeside and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
