Trainer J.Schmidt was reprimanded under the provisions of GAR 156(f)(ii) for failing to catch Best Yet in Race 5 which constitutes negligence.

Race 1 - THE LIDS FLY ON LADBROKES LIVE CHANNELS MDNPW 352m

5 Smash of Gold – Tightened for racing room and dragged down through the first turn.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 2 - LADBROKES BIG BETS COPY NOW MAIDEN (1) 352m

4 Paw Machamp - Late scratching at 2:17pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have an injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

Race 3 - THE LIDS FLY HOSTED POTS MAIDEN (2) 352m

7 Aston Mcevoy – Severely checked becoming unbalanced and made contact with the rail approaching the winning post.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

7 Little Starsky – Shifted out and took an awkward stride rounding the first turn taking no further competitive part in the event.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
