General: Trainer K Hoggan was reprimanded in respect of a charge issued under GAR76(7), for failing to present the greyhound Mayhem Gunn in the required kennelling time, which in the opinion of the stewards was an unacceptable reason for scratching.

 

 

Race 1 – ENGINEERING BY STP CONSULTANTS MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 390m

Race 2 – LADBROKES BIG BETS COPY NOW MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 390m

 

5 Professor Storm – Proved difficult to box at the start of the race. Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR 106(2) advised trainer V Heather that the greyhound will now be boxed first for future race starts.

 

Race 3 – THE LIDS FLY HOSTED POTS 2-3 WINS (1) 390m

Race 4 – THE LIDS FLY ON LADBROKES LIVE CHANNELS 2-3 WINS (2) 390m

 

9 Alley Acres – Entering the turn out of the back straight contacted the running rail. Through the home straight gave a ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hip. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days.

 

Race 5 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND 2-3 WINS (3) 390m

Race 6 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY MIXED 4/5 390m

 

5 Surf Size Queen – Through the turn out of the back straight was checked and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hindleg. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.

 

8 Daysea’s Chief – Shortly after the start commenced to give ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hindleg and nearside hip support. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 14 days.

 

Race 7 – ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE MIXED 3/4 390m

Race 8 – SEATO'S CATCH THE LURE 50TH 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 390m

 

5 Chip Kick – Through the turn out of the back straight was checked. Through the home straight appeared awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside deltoid. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 7 days.

1 Majestic Zeal – Shortly after the start was tightened and checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside flexor tendon. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 14 days.

 

Race 10 – THE Q - ENGINEERED BY STP CONSULTANTS GRADE 5 (1) 390m

3 Front Man – Entering the turn out of the back straight commenced to give ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindleg back muscle. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 60 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.

 

8 Lovely Bubbly – Entering the turn out of the back straight commenced to give ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside pec. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days.
