General: Race 7 was delayed due to heavy rain and lightning in the area and then to afford track staff the opportunity to carry out remedial work to the track prior to the running of race 8. Race times were amended as follows: R7 5.31pm, R8 5.50pm, R9 6.07pm, R10 6.23pm. |

3 Milluna Dingo – Gave ground from the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an offside pin injury the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

2 Vampire Money - Stewards spoke to trainers representative Amy Donnelly regarding the greyhound’s actions shortly after the start. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt if it had contravened any rule.

1 Electric Cha Cha – Bumped with another runner approaching the 200m, turned its head outwards taking its attention away from the lure passing the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer’s representative Shari Murdoch regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse 1st offence – 28 days stand down at Q Straight track and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
5 Rowdy Rebel – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination after escaping the catching pen which revealed a laceration to the face, the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.
8 Golden Penny – Gave ground from the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
