1 Dream Dash – Late scratching at 9:05am pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to trainer car breakdown.
3 Signing Papers – Shortly after the start turned its head inwards to the inside runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hip support. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 7 days. Stewards spoke to trainer representative K Deicmanis regarding the greyhound’s actions. After considering all available evidence stewards invoked GAR125 – Failing to Pursue by reason of Injury. The greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 7 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.
7 Regal Saint – Approximately 200m into the event was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative M Stella regarding the greyhound’s actions. After considering all available evidence, the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt. |
