Race 1 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MAIDEN 300m

7. Tuta Polly – Trailed the field for the entire event being uncompetitive. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer’s representative L Druery regarding the greyhound’s poor performance. After hearing submissions from Ms Druery, Stewards deemed the performance to be unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 129, Tuta Polly must successfully perform a satisfactory steward’s trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Race 2 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE MAIDEN 300m

8. Karma Chaos – At approximately the 150m commenced to weaken. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside shoulder. A 7 day stand down was imposed.

Race 3 - LADBROKES MATES MODE POTS GRADE 6 (1) 300m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 4 - WWW.THEQ.AU GRADE 6 (2) 300m

Race 5 - WWW.THEQ.AU GRADE 6 (2) 300m

1. Mitchell’s Lass – Near the finish looked awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside forefoot dew claw. A 5 day stand down was imposed.

6. Pay Your Dues – Shortly after the start was tightened between runners clipping heels, falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside hip support. A 10 day stand down was imposed.

Race 6 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 300m

1. Workman Like – Near the finish momentarily eased and looked outwards taking its attention away the lure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside shoulder. A 7 day stand down was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer J Woods regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Woods, stewards deemed Workman Like had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 125 Failing to Pursue with injury. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Workman Like was suspended from racing at Q Straight for 7 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial.

Race 7 - LADBROKES SRM IN MULTIS 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 300m

No racing incidents of concern.

10 Sweet Embrace - Late scratching at 4.30pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92(2) due to an offside hind leg injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Race 8 - LADBROKES FAST PAYOUTS 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 300m

1. Big Buckets - A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside hind foot. A 10 day stand down was imposed.

Race 9 - SEN TRACK 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 300m

No racing incidents of concern.

Race 10 - LADBROKES PUNTER ASSIST 5TH GRADE HEAT 5 GRADE 5 300m
