Trainer R.Evans was fined the sum of $100.00 in respect to a charge issued pursuant to GAR86 (1) for failing to present 5 out 6 runners to the Stewards within the advertised kennelling time.

Race 1 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MAIDEN 300m

4 Super Wine – Heavily checked and commenced to give ground at approximately the 200m mark.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside forelimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

Race 2 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE MDNPW 300m

7 Majestic Milline – Slow to begin.  Commenced to give ground at approximately the 150m mark appearing injured.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

Race 3 - LADBROKES MATES MODE POTS 6PW 300m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 4 - WWW.THEQ.AU GRADE 6 300m

Race 5 - LADBROKES ODDS SURGE GRADE 5 (1) 300m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 6 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND GRADE 5 (1) 300m  

4 Foxy Infrared – Heavily checked approaching the 250m mark.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside forelimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

8 Showtime Piper – Took an awkward stride approaching the finish line.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the back and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.

Race 7 - LADBROKES SRM IN MULTIS GRADE 5 (2) 300m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 8 - LADBROKES FAST PAYOUTS 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 300m

1 Squeaky Carroll – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside forelimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

Race 9 - SEN TRACK GRADE 5 (3) 300m

2 Red Hot Penny – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside forelimb and under the provisions under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

Stewards spoke to trainer representative K.Hansen regarding the greyhounds racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards took no further action.

Race 10 - LADBROKES PUNTER ASSIST GRADE 5 (2) 300m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 11 – LADBROKES ODDS SURGE MA5 (1) 300m

1 Get Up Son – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside forelimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

Race 12 - LADBROKES FAST WITHDRAWALS MA5 (2) 300m

8 King Kambosos - Proved difficult to box at the start of the race. Stewards acting under the provisions of GAR 106(2) advised L.Joyce that the greyhound will now be boxed first for future race starts.
