1 Joyful Boodie – Turned its head outwards and shifted out towards another runner at the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the nearside shoulder and was subsequently stood down for 7 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer J Perrett regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to purse by reason of injury – 7 day stand down at Q Straight and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
6 Sky By Night – Went up with the lids and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. |
