2. Bogie Becker – At approximately the 150 metres bumped with another runner several times. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside pin muscle injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days.
3. Wise Style – At approximately the 150 metres shifted in and bumped several times with the inside runner. Approaching the winning post turned its head outwards. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Amy Donnelly regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR124 Failing to pursue 28 days stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
