Race 1 - LADBROKES SAME RACE MULTI MAIDEN 350m

 

1 Black Opal Shifted out and turned its head to the outside away from the lure in running. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

 

Stewards spoke to C Mutton, the trainer of Black Opal regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in running. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124(1) failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Black Opal was found in breach and suspended for 28 days at Q Straight and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

 

Race 2 - LADBROKES MATES MODE POTS MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 350m

 

7 Strikes Twice Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to race.

 

Race 3 - JUST GREYHOUND PHOTO'S GRADE 6 (1) 350m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 4 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 6 (2) 350m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 5 - ENGINEERING BY STP CONSULTANTS 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 350m

Race 6 - LADBROKES ODDS SURGE 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 350m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 7 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 350m

 

2 Zipping Slash Turned its head to the outside, shifted out and made muzzle contact with another runner approaching the final stages of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

 

Stewards spoke to D Clarson, the trainer of Zipping Slash regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in running. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 marring Zipping Slash was found in breach and suspended for 28 days at All Tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127, before any future nomination will be accepted.

 

4 Mark Jett Power Severely checked on several occasions by another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

 

Race 8 - SEN TRACK 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 350m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 9 - WWW.THEQ.AU 5TH GRADE HEAT 5 GRADE 5 350m

 

4 Six More Songs Visibly eased approaching the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury. Stewards noted the greyhounds muzzle was broken for the majority of the race.

 

Stewards spoke to J Valentine, the trainer of Six More Songs regarding its performance in running. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 129, Six More Songs must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

 

Race 10 - THE Q - ENGINEERED BY STP CONSULTANTS 5TH GRADE HEAT 6 GRADE 5 350m

 

3 Barbie Zeal A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the off hind leg; 14 days stand down from racing.

 

Race 11 – LADBROKES SAME GAME MULTI MA5 (1) 350m
