1 Katalaya Rocks – Turned its head outwards towards another runner and eased over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainer K Murnane regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Q Straight and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
3 Goldstar Carter – Turned its head outwards towards another runner and made muzzle contact on multiple occasions over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainer R Evans regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 123 Marring (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Q Straight and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
7 Strong Boy – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near hind foot and was subsequently stood down for 21 days. |
