5 Clock Dodger – Shortly after the start was checked. Approaching the winning post faulted in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the spine. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 7 days. Stewards spoke to trainer N Snow regarding the greyhounds’ actions. After considering all available evidence the greyhound was given the benefit of the doubt. |
