5 Batman Returns – Shortly after the start was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed minor abrasions to the offside hindleg. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down racing for 3 days. |

7 Lost Dragon – Approaching the finishing post eased and turned its head outwards to the outside runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury. Stewards spoke to trainer J Cauchi regarding the greyhounds actions. After considering all available evidence stewards invoked GAR124 Failing to Pursue (1st Offence) – 28 days stand down from racing and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing. |
