3 Swift Ethics – Slow to begin. Commenced to weaken from the 200m, finishing the race tailed off last. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainer Mr Ashley Bock regarding the greyhound’s seemingly poor performance. Mr Bock reported that the greyhound was having its second run back from being on season. Mr Bock also stated that Swift Ethics ran poorly first up at Casino and was at a loss to explain the greyhound’s loss of form after being on season. Steward noted the trainer’s comments. |

4 Finley Bale – Weakened in the concluding stages of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hock and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days. |
