2 Boston Blue – Turned its head outwards taking its attention away from the lure at the 100m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainer M Neilson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Q Straight and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

The greyhound was found to have an injury to the head and was subsequently declared a late scratching at 1:39pm. Further, the greyhound will be stood down from racing for 28 days and will be required to complete a trial prior to next racing. |
