General: Stewards delayed the All Clear for Race 6 to review the race replay in relation to the distance of the lure approaching and passing the winning post. It was established that the lure slowed in the final stages of the event and stewards identified the distance of the lure was inside 5-metres as provisioned under GAR 109(1). After carefully reviewing all available angles and their live observations, Stewards were satisfied that no greyhound had been advantaged or disadvantaged during the event so as to affect the outcome and therefore permitted a variance in accordance with GAR 109(2). Stewards then declared All Clear on the judges’ semaphored numbers of 2 – 6 – 8 – 1.
