Race 1 – THE LIDS FLY ON LADBROKES LIVE CHANNELS MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 350m

 

2. Miss Precocious – Shortly after the start was tightened between runners and failed to take any real competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside hip. A 10 day stand down was imposed.

 

 

 

Race 2 – ENGINEERING BY STP CONSULTANTS MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 350m

 

2. Blue Bullet – In the early stages of the event shifted outwards abruptly taking its attention away form the lure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside shoulder. A 10 day stand down was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer’s representative S Speeding regarding the greyhound’s actions at that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Speeding, stewards deemed Blue Bullet had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 125 Failing to Pursue by reason of injury. Blue Bullet was suspended from racing at the Q Straight for 10 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial.

 

 

 

Race 3 – LADBROKES QUICK MULTI GRADE 6 350m

 

5. Luxury Jewel – Late scratching at 9.40am pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the veterinary official found the greyhound to have offside forefoot injury during kennelling. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

 

No racing incidents of concern.

 

 

 

Race 4 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND GRADE 5 350m

 

No racing incidents of concern.

 

 

 

Race 5 – ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE GRADE 5 (1) 350m

5. Big Reveal – Raced with a loose muzzle for the entire event.
