6 Yamal – Faltered in its action at the 200m when appeared to have sustained an injury. A post-race veterinary examination revealed soreness in the lumbar region and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days. Trainer’s representative Mr Josh Priest advised Stewards that the greyhound will be retired after tonight’s race. |

6 Tahitian Star – Took an awkward stride at the 200m and shortly after lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a spike wound to the nearside foreleg and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 3 days. |
