3 Strong Boy – Approximately midway through the event appeared awkward in its action and gave ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside wrist. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 14 days. |

3 Hara’s Max – Approaching the winning post shifted outwards and was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside chest. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative T Neal regarding the greyhounds’ actions. After considering all available evidence steward’s invoked GAR125 – Failing to Pursue by reason of Injury. The greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 10 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing.
5 Jaguar’s Jet – Approximately midway through the event shifted outwards and eased. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant injury. Steward’s spoke to trainer K Zammit regarding the greyhounds’ actions. After considering all available evidence steward’s invoked GAR124 – Failing to Pursue – First Offence. The greyhound was subsequently stood down from racing for 28 days at the Q Straight and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to returning to racing. |
