1 Tungsten – Shifted out for most of the race bumping numerous times with another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed injuries to the offside and nearside hip supports and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards spoke to trainer Mal Cuneo regarding the greyhound’s actions during the race. Mr Cuneo stated that his greyhound needs the outside and will endeavour to work its way there regardless of any runners to his outside. After watching the replay and hearing Mr Cuneo’s submissions, Stewards took no further action.
5 Remember Pal – Late scratching at 6:15 pm when the on-course veterinarian found the greyhound to be seasonal. 28 days stand down was imposed. |

6 Non Stop Whiskey – Shifted out in the concluding stages of the race bumping with another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the off-hind back muscle and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.
