8 Kay’s Angel underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a near side pin injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to handler Shari Murdoch, regarding the greyhounds’ racing manners in running the middle stage of the race. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) Kay’s Angel was found in breach and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted. |
