6. Lester Banner – Over the concluding stages turned its head outwards on multiple occasions towards the outside runners. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside hip support injury and was stood down from racing for 7 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer Carlin Wendt regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR125 Failing to pursue by reason of injury - 7 days stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory Steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
