8. Miles On It – Beaten $1.80 favourite, caught wide in the early stages of the event and checked into the 1st turn, rounding the home turn was crowded for room. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside pin. A 7 day stand down was imposed. |

7. Spiderbait – Near the finish momentarily eased turning its head inwards. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside pin. A 10 day stand down was imposed. Steward’s spoke to trainer W Nicholls regarding the greyhound’s racing actions over the concluding stages. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Fail to purse by reason of injury - A 10 day stand down and must successfully complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

1. Miss Hazel – Rounding the home turn marred the runner to its outside. Steward’s spoke to trainer D Russell regarding the greyhound’s racing manners for that part of the event . After hearing the trainer’s submissions, Stewards invoked GAR 123 marring, as this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Miss Hazel was suspended from racing at the Q2 Parklands track for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

8. Know All Leah – Rounding the home turn eased and looked inwards at the runner to its inside. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer S Staples regarding the greyhound’s racing manners at that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay and the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Know All Leah was in breach of GAR 124 Failing to pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Know All Leah was suspended from racing at the Q2 Parklands track for 28 days and until the successful completion of one satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |
