Star Stay – faltered rounding the turn out of the back straight on the first occasion and trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound has sustained an injury to the right hind back muscle. A 42 day stand down period was imposed. Kennel representative Nicole Connell was advised the greyhound must perform a solo satisfactory trial prior to racing. |

Bogie Dominator – underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have mild post-race cramping and recovered quickly. No stand down period was imposed. |

Race 5 - LADBROKES SAME RACE MULTI GRADE 5 520m |

Fast Eddie – raced wide in the back straight and then gave ground when rounding the turn out of the back straight and continued to lose ground for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right shoulder. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ben McCarthy advised Stewards that he was slightly disappointed with tonight’s run and after recover would consider nominating for Q1 Lakeside meetings in future. |

Gets Late Early – lead the field through the first turn and then commenced to give ground from rounding the turn into the back straight and eventually finish last. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. |

Race 8 - LADBROKES FLYING AMY CLASSIC (G1) FINAL OPEN 520m |

Out-of-competition urine and hair samples were collected from all finalists.
Cumbria Benny – severely checked on the first turn and lost considerable ground trailing the field for the remainder. A post-race veterinary examination revealed superficial marks with no stand down period imposed.
Summer Quinn - severely checked on the first turn and lost considerable ground trailing the field for the remainder. A post-race veterinary examination revealed minor abrasions with no stand down period imposed.
Blue Blend - severely checked on the first turn and lost considerable ground trailing the field for the remainder. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. |

|
Newton Hayze – (Favourite) checked to varying degrees through the first turn and lost ground. Tightened for room and lost ground when rounding the turn out of the back straight. |

Race 10 - SEN TRACK MA5 (2) 520m |
|
Jayson Bull – severely checked and fell on the turn out of the back straight resulting in Jayson Bull to not take any further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
Pocket Picker - severely checked and fell on the turn out of the back straight resulting in Jayson Bull to not take any further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal abnormalities.
Infra Terra – visibly eased and turned its head inwards rounding the turn out of the front straight. Visibly eased and collided with other runners on the turn out of the back straight, causing those runners to fall, resulting in Infra Terra to lose considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a right fibula injury with a 10 day stand down period imposed. Stewards spoke with trainer Rod Herr regarding the greyhounds’ racing manners on the first turn and the turn out of the back straight. After reviewing all available evidence, and under the provisions GAR 125, Stewards suspended Infra Terra from Q2 Parklands and it must perform a satisfactory stewards trial prior to racing.
Hello Warren – underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of kennel representatives after being found to have a laceration to the left front leg in the catching pen, which was confirmed by the veterinarian. A 5 stand down period was imposed.
