General: Race 1 was declared a no race due to fallen runners on the first turn. In the opinion of the stewards this had materially affected the result and therefore acting under the provisions of GAR 110 declared the event a No Race.

Race 1 - LADBROKES ODDS SURGE GRADE 6 520m

7. Divided By Nine – On the first turn was checked heavily and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed a near-foreleg injury and was humanely euthanised.

8. Texas Wedge – On the first turn was checked heavily and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an off-foreleg injury and was humanely euthanised.

Race 2 - LADBROKES SAME RACE MULTI MA5 520m  

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 3 - ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE 0-3 WINS (1) 600m  

4. Howdy Hope – Through the turn out of the home straight turned its head out towards the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed an offside wrist injury and was stood down from racing for 10 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative Warren Elson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR124 Failing to pursue – 28 days stand down at all tracks and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 4 - GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND 0-3 WINS (2) 600m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 5 - GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS MIXED 5/6 (1) 600m

6. Riorson Bale - Late scratching at 8:39am pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to Injury the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days. Stewards have received a Veterinary certificate.

Race 6 - LADBROKES MATES MODE POTS MIXED 5/6 (2) 600m

No matters of concern to Stewards.

Race 7 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 520m

3. Apollo’s Sun – A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.

Race 8 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 520m

6. Finniss Bale – Along the home straight on the final occasion turned its head out towards the outside runner. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings. Steward’s spoke to trainer Kevin Macintosh regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR124 Failing to pursue – 28 days stand down at Q2 Parklands and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 9 - TWO TURN RACING @ THE Q 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 520m

4. Kingsbrae Julie – In the catching pen was contacted heavily. A post-race veterinarian examination revealed no significant findings.
