3. Summer’s Edition – Through the 1st turn marred the runner to its outside a short distance later continued to impede that greyhound for the remainder of the event. Stewards spoke to trainer T Elson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners for that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and considering the trainers submissions, stewards deemed Summer’s Edition did make head and muzzle contact with the greyhound to its outside and therefore invoked GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Summer’s Edition was suspended from racing at the Q2 Parklands for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next. |

4. Perfect Score – Through the 1st turn was marred by the runner to its inside a short distanced later was severely inconvenienced falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. |

7. Extreme Tension – Into the 1st turn was tightened between runners. Through the 1st turn brushed the running rail appearing awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. |

Race 5 - LADBROKES ODDS SURGE OPEN 710m |

The start of this event was delayed 2 minutes due to a technical issue with the starting boxes.
1. Sterling Brindle - A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside hip. A 10 day stand down was imposed. |

Race 6 -GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS GRADE 5 710m |

|
6. Amber Annie - Through the turn out of the home straight eased and turned its outwards taking its attention away from the lure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer J Jeffrey regarding the greyhound’s actions for that stage of the event, after reviewing the video replay and the hearing the submissions from Mr Jeffrey, stewards deemed Amber Annie had taken its attention away from the lure therefore invoked GAR 124 Failing to Pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 1st offence under this rule Amber Annie was suspended from racing at Q2 Parklands for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial. |

3.Togatuki – Shortly after the start commenced to weaken taking no real competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its nearside back muscle. A 21 day stand down was imposed. |
