During the pre-meeting track inspection conducted by Stewards the cable for the lure system failed. The cable was replaced and then tested satisfactorily prior race 1. |

Race 1 - LADBROKES MATES MODE POTS GRADE 6 520m |

We Different – Visibly eased when rounding the turn into the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right shoulder with a 14 day stand down period imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Brent Kline regarding the greyhounds’ racing manners on the turn rounding into the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, We Different was suspended from racing for Failing To Pursue (by reason of injury). We Different must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, before any future nomination will be accepted. |

Quicker Sophie – checked on the first turn and lost ground taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near hind back muscle injury with a 60 day stand down period imposed. Trainer Matthew Slater was advised the greyhound must perform a satisfactory trial prior to nominating again. |
