7. Zipping Bjorn – Through the home turn shifted out deviating its attention away from the lure and towards the runner to its outside. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainer Chris Brydon regarding the greyhound’s racing manners racing through the home turn. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Failing to pursue. As this was the greyhound’s 3rd offence, Zipping Bjorn was suspended from racing at all tracks for 3 months and until the successful completion of two satisfactory steward’s trials prior to racing next. |
