A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
8 Goldstar Max – Turned its head to the outside runner on numerous occasions entering the final turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside forelimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days. Steward’s spoke to trainer representative S.Evans regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Failing to pursue by reason of injury – 7 days stand down at Q2 Parklands and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.
