Race 1 – LADBROKES RACING EXTRAS IN MULTI MAIDEN 520m

 

8 Balance The Till – A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

 

Race 2 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND GRADE 6 520m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 3 – ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICES 0-3 WINS 600m

 

2 Tommy Tango – Turned its head outwards towards another runner taking its attention away from the lure. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainers representative Mr T Britton regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to purse (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Q2 Parklands and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next

 

4 Naughty Brooke – Turned its head outwards and made muzzle contact with another runner to its outside. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainer M Edwards regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Marring (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Q2 Parklands and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next

 

7 Sharri - A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near hind toe and was subsequently stood down for 60 days. Further, the greyhound will be required to complete an injury trial prior to next racing.

 

Race 4 – LADBROKES FAST WITHDRAWALS MIXED 5/6 600m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 5 – GREYHOUNDS MAKE GREAT PETS 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 520m

 

7 Misty Rico – Severely checked and fell in the first turn. Failed to complete the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have sustained an injury to the near side shoulder and was subsequently stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 6 - ENGINEERING BY STP CONSULTANTS 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 520m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 7 - INDEPENDENT LIQUOR GROUP 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 520m
