In accordance with Gar 110 (1) the race was declared a no race when a greyhound pulled up racing past the 600m boxes and could not be cleared off the track. For the safety of the greyhounds and staff members attempting to capture the greyhound the lure was ordered by the stewards to be pulled up in the back straight.
8 Professor Arlena Appeared to sustain an injury shortly after the start. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed a near hip injury and was stood down for 14 days |

2 Golden Bear Shifted out in the home straight on the final occasion and marred the runner on its outside on several occasions. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities. Charged under Gar 123 marring 4th offence and was stood down from all tracks for the 3 months and must complete two successful trials prior to nomination. Trainer M McGrath indicated that it was intention to retire the greyhound.
7 Sweetest of All Marred by another runner approaching the winning post on the final occasion and lost ground. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities. |
