7 Cheers For Bella Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have near side wrist injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Tony Apap, regarding the greyhounds racing manners leaving the turn into the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) Cheers For Bella was found in breach and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
9 Blue Milk underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a calf injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to handler, Michelle Bunny regarding the greyhounds’ racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) Blue Milk was found in breach and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted. |
