2 No More Games Commenced to give ground passing the middle of the front straight on the first occasion. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side back muscle injury, 21 days stand down from racing.

 

3 Comedy Act Fell in the catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

 

Race 5 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 5 (1) 520m

Race 6 - LADBROKES RACING EXTRAS IN MULTI GRADE 5 (2) 520m

 

6 Bedale Checked rounding the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent injury.

 

7 Oxley Charm Shifted out and collided with another runner rounding the turn out of the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a pin injury, 21 days stand down from racing.

 

Race 7 - LADBROKES POPULAR SRM GRADE 5 600m

 

7 Cheers For Bella Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have near side wrist injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Tony Apap, regarding the greyhounds racing manners leaving the turn into the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) Cheers For Bella was found in breach and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

 

9 Blue Milk underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a calf injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to handler, Michelle Bunny regarding the greyhounds’ racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125(a), failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) Blue Milk was found in breach and must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 127(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
