Race 1 – ENGINEERING BY STP CONSULTANTS MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 520m

 

7. Very Shrewd – Into the 1st turn was severely checked falling as a result. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its back. A 5 day stand down was imposed.

 

 

 

Race 2 – ROSEWOOD VETERINARY SERVICE MIXED M/6 520m

 

7. Zipping Dargan – Into the 1st turn was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside back muscle. A 5 day stand down was imposed.

 

 

 

 

Race 3 – INDEPENDENT LIQUOR GROUP 0-3 WINS (1) 600m

 

No racing incidents of concern.

 

 

 

Race 4 – LADBROKES RACING EXTRAS IN MULTI 0-3 WINS (2) 600m

 

3. Egyptian Queen – Leaving the turn into the back straight turned its head outwards colliding with the runner to its outside and inconveniencing other runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer J Dart regarding the greyhound’s racing manners for that stage of the event, after hearing the steward’s observation, reviewing the video replay, and hearing the trainers’ submissions, stewards deemed that Egyptian Queen was in breach of GAR 123 Marring. As this was the greyhound’s 2nd offence under this rule Egyptian Queen was suspended from racing at all tracks for 28 days and until the successful completion of a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

Race 6 - BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 5 (1) 520m

 

4. Canya Launch - On pulling up collided with another runner and fell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

7. Grubber Kick – Over the concluding stages appeared awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside pin. A 7 day stand down was imposed.

7. He’s Regal – Into the 1st turn appeared awkward in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to its offside pin. A 7 day stand down was imposed.
