Track: Unsuitable for Racing

Stewards: A. Spence (Chair) & D. Broxham

General: The stewards conducted a pre‑meeting track inspection and identified several sections of the racing surface that were assessed as excessively soft and potentially unsuitable for racing. Queensland Greyhound Racing Club officials were afforded an opportunity to undertake remedial works.

Following a subsequent inspection conducted after kennelling, the Stewards were not satisfied that the track surface had been adequately remediated to ensure it was suitable for racing. As a result, the meeting was declared abandoned at 5:53pm.
