Farmer Fox – after being retrieved from its kennel to leave the course, following Race 6, the trainer observed that the greyhound was unwell. The greyhound was presented to the on-course veterinarian, where an examination revealed abdominal distension. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. |

Soiree – was a beaten favourite. From its wide draw, Soiree raced wide rounding the turn out of the back straight on the first occasion. Throughout the event, Soiree was unable to obtain clear running and was hampered on several occasions, however it still finished strongly. |
