4 Hara’s Gregor – Severely checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hip and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

Race 4 – LADBROKES BIG BETS COPY NOW MIXED 4/5 600m

7 Akela Judo – Slow begin. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hock and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

Race 6 – INDEPENDENT LIQUOR GROUP GRADE 5 (2) 520m

1 Two Cent Tilly – Dragged down by another runner in the back straight and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hip and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 14 days.

Race 7 – ENGINEERING BY STP CONSULTANTS MIXED 4/5 520m

No apparent reportable incidents.

Race 8 – INDEPENDENT LIQUOR GROUP FFA 520m

7 Howdy Elise – Weakened in the concluding stages of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 9 – WWW.THEQ.AU 1-5 WINS (1) 520m

2 Exequiel – (Beaten favourite) Marginally slow to begin.

Race 10 – GORSKI ENGINEERING 1-5 WINS (2) 520m

Race 11 – LADBROKES FAST PAYOUTS MA5 (1) 520m

4 Zipping Adeline – Checked off heels shortly after entering the back straight and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside shoulder and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

5 Mandela Hayze – Bumped with another runner rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside shoulder and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 21 days.

Race 12 – WWW.THEQ.AU MA5 (2) 520m

2 Where’s My Car – Checked off heels in the back straight and fell taking no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside groin and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

4 Don’t Cry Mama – Visibly eased shortly after entering the back straight. Turned its head inwards rounding the home turn marring the runner to his inside. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Lindsay Joyce regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the back straight and rounding the home turn. After reviewing the footage and hearing Mr Joyce’s submissions, Stewards invoked GAR123 Marring (1^st offence) and stood down Don’t Cry Mama for 28 days at Q2 Parklands plus the completion of a satisfactory trial.

7 Jumping Jive – Late scratching at 3:12 pm when the greyhound was found to have an injury to the offside front toe during kennelling. A 7 day stand down was imposed.

8 Margaret’s Angel – Fell in the back straight and took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed soreness in the lumbar region and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.
