Prior to the running of this event, it was discovered there was an issue with the compressor at the 520m starting boxes. The compressor was replaced and all remaining races where put back one race slot.

4 Rockabye Baby Shifted out approaching the final turn, turned its head and marred the runner to its outside on several occasions. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed an injury to the back and offside wrist and was stood down for 10 days. The greyhound was charged under Gar 123 marring 1st offence and stood down for 28 days at the Q2 Parklands. The greyhound must complete a successful stewards trail prior to nomination. |
