Race 1 – LADBROKES RACING EXTRAS IN MULTI MAIDEN HEAT 1 MAIDEN 520m

 

6 Lucy Lou Stewards spoke to trainer representative Mr Graham Hall regarding the greyhounds actions in the home straight on the final occasion.  After considering all evidence stewards elected to give the greyhound the benefit of the doubt and took no action against the greyhound.  Future runs will be monitored closely

 

Race 2 – GARRARD'S HORSE AND HOUND MAIDEN HEAT 2 MAIDEN 520m

 

6 Normality Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to be suffering from no apparent abnormalities.

 

Race 3 – BOX 1 PHOTOGRAPHY GRADE 6 520m

 

1 Paid in Glory Checked off the heels of another runner and shifted out at the first turn, shortly after bumped with the runners to the outside.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

Race 4 – ENGINEERING BY STP CONSULTANTS 0-3 WINS 600m

8 Fire Tears Stewards spoke to kennels representative Miss K Elson regarding the seemingly improved performance.  Miss Elson stated that the kennel was hopeful of improved performance today and that the greyhound had trained well during the week.   Miss Elson’s comments were noted, and the greyhound was sent for post-race swab.

 

Race 11 – SEN TRACK 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 520m

 

No apparent reportable incidents.

 

Race 12 – INDEPENDENT LIQUOR GROUP 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 520m

 

7 Hara’s Avery Checked at the first turn, shortly after appeared to sustain an injury and took no further competitive part in the event.  Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to be suffering from an offside hock dislocation and was stood down for 90 days.  The greyhound must perform a satisfactory trial veterinary trial prior to nomination.
