Tarcisia – checked in the back straight and lost momentum. Checked again and the raced awkwardly when rounding the turn out of the back straight to finish a moderate distance from the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside pin muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Specifically – collided with runners and fell after the winning post and prior to entering the catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any apparent abnormalities. |
