The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.
Race 7 WILDASH TAPPER
Race 6 PAR DE FIR Injured in running, off side shoulder, 20 days
SET TO SCORE, SOBER MAGGIE and HALFA were all slow to begin. SOBER MAGGIE raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race. Approaching the 630m boxes SET TO SCORE shifted out and checked DARLING LEE causing DARLING LEE to lose considerable ground.
Even start. Near the catching pen OVERDRIVE SPEED shifted out and checked FITZROY RISING. RODEO CLOWN and FITZROY RISIING raced wide throughout the race.
Race 3 – Novice 407m
KOTA MAY and OH THE SHAME were slow to begin. KOTA MAY raced wide throughout the race. SHY LADY raced wide for the second half of the race.
Race 4 – 5th
Grade 407m
MARINA’S DOLL and SATIN IDOL were slow to begin. Near the 630m boxes VALENTINE RAY shifted out and forced LITTLE STATE to shift out and check with KOTA LIZ.
Race 5 – 5th
Grade 407m
FLYING AMBITION and JUNIOR CHEVEZ were slow to begin. SLASHIN’ PETE raced wide throughout the race.
Race 6 – 4/5th
Grade 407m
TARAWI MARINA was slow to begin. Shortly after the start WILDASH WILDFIRE shifted out and checked with PAR DE FIR causing PAR DE FIR to fall. BRAZEN SPEED raced wide throughout the race.
PAR DE FIR was vet checked and was found to have sustained a shoulder injury and was suspended for a period of 20 days.
Race 7 – 4/5th Grade 510m
NELLIE’S JOKER and WILDASH TAPPER were slow to begin. On the first turn WILDASH REV has raced onto the heels of GIGGLING PANTHER causing GIGGLING PANTHER to check and lose considerable ground. Near the 630m boxes COSMIC CYCLONE shifted in across WILDASH DUKE causing WILDASH DUKE to lose ground. NELLIE’S JOKER raced wide on the home turn and down the straight.
Race 8 – 3/4th Grade 407m
SERIOUS JOY, TRES CHIC and MARLIN SLAYER were all slow to begin. Near the catching pen FOCUS AND SPEED shifted in and checked with KYAMMY and TRES CHIC.
Race 9 – 5th Grade 407m
MIGHTY AWESOME was slow to begin. Near the catching pen OLD CROONER shifted out and checked with BULLET PITCH causing BULLET PITCH to lose considerable ground. SHAYLOR BACARDI raced wide in the early and middle stages of the race.
Race 10 – 5th Grade 407m
STARS ALIGN and TARAWI MAX were slow to begin. Near the catching pen STARS ALIGN shifted out and checked MARLOW LEE causing MARLOW LEE to lose considerable ground. In the back straight STARS ALIGN shifted out and checked TARAWI MAX.
